TRDL 2014 Series, No. 26 - Spider-Gwen

This one was done for the R3 Art Challenge, the subject being Spider-Gwen, the shorthand term for Gwen Stacy from an alternate timeline in Marvel's Spider-Verse event. I don't know anything about the character, but I REALLY like the design. Much, much more than I initially did when I first saw it. The use of the blue shoes, the blue elements int he costume, the glow around the eyes, and especially the webbing on the inside of the hood, just screamed innovative to me without looking instantly dated. I was excited to draw her... I did change the color of her eye glows, though... better compositionally, I thought.
