I've always found it absurd when super heroes, let alone combat characters, parade around in lingerie or swimsuits as costumes. I have a character in the TRDL Universe that came from that perspective, the sex as distraction thing. But like that character, there's something interesting in the dichotomy between the fragility or vulnerability of a bikini or barely-there outfit, and the capability of wielding lethal force. I know Freud would have a lot to say about that, but I thought, for this redesign, that the skimpy attire, combined with the bold tattoo and hard edge to her expression, would sell her deep cover persona as a Joe that had a psychotic break from the trauma she received from the impalement and the loss of loved ones in the light rail attack. It was sort of that Jekyll/Hyde thing. Of course, in this concept, it's all part of her cover. But I wanted her to be recognizable as Scarlett, but look edgy and rogue.
