Description

This one was done for Mike (Go Dorito) who requested a TRDL mecha of any kind. We share a life long love of all things Iron Man (well, not true... not 90s...) so I decided to do a redesign of Hulkbuster. There are the two larger arms, then two smaller articulators (showing my Masamune Shirow influence) plus a hell of a lot of warheads. The concept started that I didn't want any gripping surfaces for the Hulk to tear off, but then I abandoned that because in reality, the optimum Hulkbuster concept should really be nanobots... anyway, the wearer's arms are not within those secondary articulators; they are entirely cocooned in the back of the armor, with a quick release escape capsule. The worst case scenario is grappling Hulk, prying his mouth open with the articulators, and then detonating all the warheads, while the wearer blasts away from the back. But eh! Hulk busting is dangerous business...
