Trdl16 Viprrp

Another TRDL redesign. I'm a Marvel guy, and there's no shortage of unpleasant costumes on that end of the spectrum, but Vixen is one design I could never wrap my head around. In the four-color comics days, her orange costume blended into the approximation of her skin color and felt very muted; more currently, it just reads dull and muted to me. I don't much like really obvious tropes like animal claws and bones on an animal character, at least all the time, and especially on a hero. It doesn't feel like something a character with a spiritual link to the essence of the animal kingdom would wear. So, I approached this with a rule of: no pelts, bones, etc. I am forced to admit, I haven't resolved the color problem yet. However, I took some inspiration with her physique (lean, long muscle strands, strong shoulders) from runners and gave her a playful look in face and hair that is loosely referencing Amber Rose. I took the pull ring from one iteration of her outfit, and translated that, along with making a full coverage bodysuit but as two pieces so freedom of motion at the hipline. Both zippers pulled up tight. Bare arms but forearms are covered and then loose gloves over that. I pulled the boot design directly from that more modern costume in the ref material. The iconography of her amulet is referenced in the lines of the piping along the bodysuit, at hips and trapezius area. Since you have to have the amulet, and it's too larger to like hide in something, I mounted it on a ring and have it strapped to her chest by four bands that join in the back.
